Fall is a good time to add trout.
Fish Haven Farm has 3 sizes of rainbows and some goldens.
Also in stock, bluegills, bass, catfish and minnows. Open Friday and Saturday 8am-4pm for pickup. Call Mon- Sat to place your order.

Pond Repairs

Refilling the pond after draining it to fix some structures that were damaged from the Christmas Day flooding on top of the 4 ft of snow. The hardest parts are finished but there are still a few repairs to be done as well as some island mowing. Some customers feared we had a leak, but luckily the drainage was intentional.

Talk to Fish Haven Farm for pond aerators: Options include electric. solar, and wind powered. Decorative sprays or surface circulators as well as diffused air bubblers from the pond bottom. Small ponds or large.

In stock this weekend: 6" channel catfish, 6" largemouth bass, 3-4" bluegills, and fathead minnows.

All grass carp in the facility are reserved for customers who've called ahead. We will get more and be restocked on them for the following weekend, Aug 20 & 21.

Solar Diffused Aerator

An aeration alternative, this solar diffuser system is economical and comparable in price to the electric powered ones. The $1600 kit includes two solar panels, a pole mounted steel box with 60 L compressor and inverter, 2 weighted diffusers & 50 ft of weighted tubing (w/ extra available). This easy to set up kit is sized to aerate a 1/3 acre pond. A single panel model is on display at the fish farm. Call for questions or to set up an appt to see it.

We'll be open this weekend, both Friday and Saturday, 8am-4pm. Time for the second beneficial bacteria treatment.

This weekend, we have fathead minnows, crayfish (NY ponds), largemouth bass, bluegills, and grass carp. We will have channel catfish July 9-10.

Please note: our supplies of some fish and pond products have been affected by the shipping and supply difficulties resulting from the covid pandemic. We are most likely not able to obtain any more koi from our suppliers for this season. Please call to discuss your pond needs and schedule a pick up appt.

Crayfish Situation

Many of our NY customers have inquired about the availability of crayfish for their ponds. Our supplier has not been able to obtain them yet due to the unseasonable cool weather, but we are hoping soon!
