Our Story, Our People,
Our Passion for the Water

A family-owned business providing freshwater fish for stocking ponds and lakes — and so much more.

Our Story

Fish Haven Farm is a family-owned and operated business that has provided freshwater fish for stocking ponds and lakes since 1981. Our public facility on Rt 96 in Candor, New York opened in 2001 to create a centralized location for fish sales and distribution.

In 2023, former owners Rick and Pat Musa sold the business to local residents Alex and Andrea Weisz. With an emphasis on recirculating systems and local fish raising, they strive to incorporate more resource-efficient and eco-friendly practices to pond fish stocking.

Environmentally Friendly

Fish Haven Farm strives to reduce its environmental impact and promote green business practices.

  • Tank water is stored in a silo and mostly recirculated to reduce energy use.
  • Fish tank waste is naturally filtered before returning to the environment.
  • Our pond products are non-toxic and free from pesticides and herbicides.
  • Our fish species are common in the northeast, cohabitating easily to encourage healthy ecosystems.
