What are hybrid bluegills?

Hybrid bluegills are a cross between a male bluegill and a female green sunfish, yielding high numbers of male offspring, leading to less overpopulation than with other bluegill species. Hybrid bluegills grow quickly as they are aggressive feeders and will eat fish food pellets if offered. These vigorous eaters are easy and fun to catch.
