| Ponds in the area are warming up, allowing for beneficial bacteria to be added. Macro-Zyme is a pond care product made by Kasco Marine, intended to reduce the sludge at the bottom of the pond. It is a beneficial bacteria which starts the decomposition of nutrients that can foster an algae problem. Macro-Zyme is added when the water temperature reaches 55 degrees. Fish Haven Farm sells Macro-Zyme in individual toss-in pouches, a slow-dissolving block, or bulk gallons. |  |
