As the poster below indicates, Fish Haven Farm has many options to reduce those favorable conditions which are conducive for algae growth. Our products are non-toxic and will not harm pets or wildlife. Keep in mind that in NY and PA, the application of aquatic pesticides is regulated by the DEC and requires a permit. While providing short-term relief, algicides do not address the underlying conditions and are not a long-range solution.
